Delete your account
You can delete your Eternal Shelf account here, directly in your browser. You do not need to install the app. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
What gets deleted
- Your account and sign-in details (email address, Google or Apple sign-in link)
- Your profile, including display name and username
- Your library: favourites, collections and bookmarks
- Your reading history and reading progress
- Your app settings, such as reading language and display preferences
What is not deleted
- The books themselves. They are public-domain works and are not part of your personal data
- Contributions you made to shared book text, which remain in the shared edit history without your name attached
- Records we are required to keep by law, for the period the law requires

Delete from the app
You can also delete your account in the mobile app: open Settings, then Account, then Delete account. It removes exactly the same data.

If you cannot sign in, contact us from the address registered to your account and we will delete it for you.
